Elizabeth Cook
Florida native Elizabeth Cook seemed almost predisposed to have a career in Folk/Country music. Both of her parents played several instruments including guitar and mandolin. Her father served time in prison for moonshining (very country) and she is the youngest of 11 children. Needless to say, her youth provided her with much to write about later in life.
She made her Grand Ole Opry debut in 2000 and has worked with such greats as Rodney Crowell, Dwight Yoakam and Buddy Miller. She dropped by Studio 101 in the Spring of 2010 before her performance at Kirk Avenue Music Hall.
