Megan McCormick

Singer-Songwriter and extremely skilled guitarist, Megan McCormick stops by Studio 101 each time she visits the Star City. Her shows at Kirk Avenue Music Hall draw throngs of fans while converting music lovers who are new to her style. Megan seemlessly blends jazz, bluegrass and good ol' rock-n-roll guitar styles while layering, on the top, seductive and sultry vocals. The next time Megan comes to town, try and catch a glimpse of her left wrist while she is playing. Her grandfather was a very accomplished guitarist and taught her how to play. To remind her of that, she has his initials tattooed on the inside of her left wrist. Megan is quite appreciative of her fans, as well. She regularly sticks around after performing to speak to folks who support her music.  Megan often says that Roanoke is one of her favorite places to play, because she is just as enamored of her fans as they are of her.
