Patty Larkin

Boston singer/songwriter, Patty Larkin brought her brand of Folk-urban pop music to the Kirk Avenue Music Hall stage back in February of 2010. Beforehand, she visited Studio 101 to play a few tunes.

Patty comes from an artistic family full of musicians, storytellers and painters. She started studying piano at age 7 and was teaching herself the guitar shortly thereafter. While in college at the University of Oregon, she played in campus coffeehouses and even made trips down to San Francisco, as well. She also studied jazz guitar at the Berklee College of Music in Boston where she busked with classmates on the streets of Cambridge.

For the last 30 years, Patty has been known as one of the finest guitarists on the Folk scene and it shows on her performance at Studio 101.
